Barley, or gordeolum, is an acute purulent inflammation of the eyelash hair sac.

In case of barley diseases:

• You should try not to touch or rub your eyes with dirty hands.

• With an increase in body temperature and general malaise, you should consult a doctor to resolve the need for antibiotic therapy.

• Treatment is usually not required. To speed up recovery, you can use warm compresses and ointments with antibiotics.
